As used in professional skin clinics, this stainless steel blackhead remover is the most effective way of removing blackheads from the pores. Used correctly it can help to dislodge blockages and lift them out. The scoop-shaped end is ideal for removing blockages from the sides of the nose and the chin, while the hole is used with a light pressure for larger blackheads.
How to use:
IMPORTANT. Make sure your extractor is sterilised before use.
Use when the skin is softer and the pores open, ideally after a warm shower or bath or after steaming the face. Using the side of the scoop, press very gently at the edge of the blockage and scoop it out. If it doesn't come out DON'T be tempted to use more pressure or you will damage the skin.
For larger blockages place the scoop hole over the blackhead and push down very gently. The blackhead should pop out of the hole. Again DON'T press too hard or you will damage the skin and break the capillaries. The pointed end of the extractor is a lance and should only be used by a qualified therapist or nurse. Follow extraction with an antiseptic cream.
